The Box Office business hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. The University, and thus the Box Office, are closed on most major holidays.  The Sonoma State University Box Office is located in the Student Center.  Tickets can be purchased in person at the Info + Tickets desk when the Student Center is open (building hours vary, please check the schedule HERE).  The Box Office will open at the event venue at least one hour prior to the start time, and close 30 minutes after the scheduled start time (for Athletic events, the Box Office will remain open approximately one hour after the scheduled start time).
 

Refunds, Exchanges & Ticket Donations

We do not offer refunds.  For your convenience, we offer ticket exchanges for most SSU events, subject to availability. We encourage you to exchange your tickets as early as possible.  Exchange requests must be received by the Box Office no later than 4:00 p.m. the business day prior to the event.  To exchange tickets, patrons are encouraged to call the Box Office during business hours (Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm).  Exchanges may also be done in person at the Student Center Info + Tickets Desk during business hours.
 
Exchange requests for a higher-priced event or price zone will be charged the difference.  Exchange requests for a lower-priced event or price zone will be considered a donation or can be applied to additional ticket purchases in the same transaction.  Exchanges of discounted tickets require upgrading to a full-price ticket and paying the difference in price.
 
Exchanges must be completed 24 hours prior to the event start time, or by 4:00pm the last business day before the event, whichever comes first.
 
Tickets may also be donated by emailing tickets@sonoma.edu up to one hour prior to the event start time. In order to ensure that your request is processed, the order number must be provided.  The total ticket value is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
 

Discounts

Discount availability and pricing vary by event.  Discounts cannot be combined and are valid on new purchases only.  Promo codes must be entered before obtaining tickets/registering for events.  Some discounts require logging into your customer account before obtaining tickets/registering for events.  Discounts are not applicable in VIP/Meet & Greet price zones.
 
Group discounts are available for most events, please contact the Box Office for pricing and more information (tickets@sonoma.edu or 707-664-4246).
 
Sonoma State University Students, Faculty, Staff and Emeritus Faculty must login using campus credentials.  Select My Account from the menu bar above, then the SSU LOGIN button.  You will be redirected to the SSU website to enter valid campus credentials, then redirected back to the ticketing site.  Available discounts will be available for purchase at that point and are limited to two discounted tickets per event.  Valid SSU photo ID (or proof of emeritus faculty status) must be presented when entering the venue with discounted tickets.

Sonoma State University retired staff will need to obtain a card from Human Resources before being eligible for discounted tickets.  Additional information will be provided directly to staff members who obtain this card.
 
Sonoma State University Alumni Association Members enter the promo code SSUALUMNIAM prior to obtaining tickets/registering for events.  For some events, SSU Alumni Association Members can obtain two discounted tickets per event.  SSU Alumni Association membership card must be presented when entering the venue with discounted tickets.
 

Admission, Re-Admittance & Late Seating

Sonoma State University reserves the right to refuse admission to the venue, to request any ticket holder to leave the venue, and/or to take any appropriate action to enforce these rights.
 
Re-admittance varies by event and venue, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check in with staff prior to entering for re-admittance policy. 
 
All events take place rain or shine. 
 
Programs, Artists and/or opponents are subject to change without notice. 
 
Latecomers may be seated at the discretion of Sonoma State University.
 

Photography/Videography

Video, still photography, and/or sound recording of any performance or the possession of any device for video, still photography and/or sound recording without the written permission of Sonoma State University, is prohibited by law.  There may be exceptions to this rule that vary by event/venue.  Please email tickets@sonoma.edu, or check in with staff at the venue upon arrival, for details on a specific event.
 

Ticket Terms

Events may be filmed and/or recorded by Sonoma State University for future broadcast. Photo and/or video of the audience or individuals in the audience may be included in these recordings, attendance at events shall be deemed as your consent to have your image or likeness appear in any live or recorded video display or other transmission or reproduction of the event in whole or in part.
 

Ticket Brokers

For your own security, we strongly recommend that you do not purchase tickets from any supplier other than the Sonoma State University/Green Music Center Box Office. Only tickets purchased directly from SSU/GMC Box Office can be guaranteed, and tickets purchased from any other source are done so at your own risk and may be deemed invalid.  The SSU/GMC Box Office does not replace tickets purchased through eBay, Craig’s List, StubHub, or any other secondary market.  The re-sale of tickets on the SSU campus is strictly prohibited. Violators of this policy will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Policies subject to change without notice.
 

Delivery Methods

Tickets selected for mail or courier delivery are processed within three business days from the time of the order. Tickets must be booked at least ten business days prior to the event in order to qualify for mailing or courier delivery.  Tickets are sent to the address specified during the checkout process. Customers should always ensure that the proper shipping address is provided during checkout. Shipping is not available for overseas addresses.
 
Complimentary ticket delivery is available on most orders, but requires a recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  To download the program, click here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
 
The Digital Download delivery method is not recommended for use on mobile devices.
 

Sign Language Interpreter

Sign language interpretation requests must be made at least three weeks prior to the event. All requests must be made by contacting the Box Office within 48 hours of your ticket purchase by phone, 707-664-4246 or email tickets@sonoma.edu
 

Lost & Found

Items may be claimed from the Seawolf Service Center, located on the ground floor of Salazar Hall in the center of the Sonoma State University campus. If you are seeking lost items, please call 707-664-2308.
 

Campus Policies

Sonoma State University is a smoke and tobacco-free campus.
 
Pursuant to SSU policy 1988-4; the consumption of alcoholic beverages in an SSU parking lot or on any campus roadway is prohibited. Violators may be subject to criminal citation and fine. All patrons, and their possessions, are subject to search upon entering the venue.
 

Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Items are subject for review by campus police. If a guest is found inside a venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated and the guest may be ejected from the facility and/or the Sonoma State campus.

The Following Items Are Not Permitted:

  • Aerosol Cans
  • Animals/Pets (except service animals)
  • Audio/Video Recording Equipment
  • Balloons, Beach Balls or Related Items
  • Chains, Studded Bracelets, etc.
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Laser Pens and Pointers
  • Noisemaking Devices (i.e. whistles, air horns)
  • Outside liquids
  • Professional Photography Equipment, Tripods, Monopods and Selfie Sticks
  • Poles/Sticks to Display Flags, Banners, etc.
  • Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, handbills, etc.
  • Weapons of any kind (i.e. pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
  • Any Other Item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue in its sole discretion.

In general, visitors can access the Sonoma State University ticketing site without revealing any valuable personal information. The Sonoma State University Box Office reserves the right to contact customers if a change, cancellation or alteration has occurred to a performance or product purchased via the Sonoma State University ticketing website.
